Game On by SC Daiko
Published date: 11th March, 2017
Genres: Adult Fiction, Contemporary Romance
Format: Ebook
Rating: 2*
Synopsis:
A scorching hot student-teacher romance.

RYAN
There was only one thing I wanted in life: to play professional rugby.
I lived and breathed it until I met Beth.
She’s beautiful, sweet, and so incredibly sexy... but she’s out of bounds. Beth wants me, I know she does, and I want her.
If I wasn’t her student it would be game on.

BETH
There was only one thing I wanted in life: to be a good teacher.
And I was until I met Ryan.
He held me against his hard body on a sizzling Ibiza night, and I lost myself to him. Six months later, he’s in my Spanish class... what I feel for him is totally against the rules.
Soon rugby isn’t the only game Ryan is playing. But when his past catches up with him, and everything starts to go wrong...
will it be game over for the two of us?

REVIEW:
Before wanting to kill me for my rating, hear me out.

This book... it just didn't do it for me. I didn't 'click' with the author's writing.
I didn't like the description of scenes, action and even the love scenes. I was cringing throughout the whole book.
It's not that I HATED the book. I didn't hate it because it had potential but I think the author didn't grasp it well. My 2 star means I simply didn't enjoy the book. I didn't connect with any character whatsoever and the plot could have been worked on and studied way better. I'm pretty sure the author had an awesome sauce idea but kinda lost her touch while writing it.

For me one of the major problems here was SC Daiko's writing. I'll probably read another book of hers to see if her writing has any different from one book to the other and thus my opinion might change.
